Mandurah winter of 2023

Mandurah is not far from Perth, has many arty things going on, and always provides nice memories for short holidays.

The Giants have definitely been a highlight since they were unveiled in November 2022. Sometimes they unfortunately atracted bad people who set them on fire or coloured them with graffiti, but thousands of people just went to enjoy them. We didn’t get to see Vivi Cirkelstone before he burnt down, but we saw all the other ones.

We spent one night in one of the tiny hidden cabins not far from Mandurah and from there we explored the thrombolites on Lake Clifton and saw the last Giant, Jyttes Hytte.
