Clippers Round the World yachts in Fremantle

After battling thousands of nautical miles across the Southern Ocean and the legendary Roaring Forties, the fleet of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race arrived in Fremantle in December 2023. Docked at Fremantle Sailing Club with sails furled and hulls weathered by weeks at sea, the yachts offered a rare glimpse into the practical realities of life during a round-the-world race — from the carefully organised job allocations that keep each vessel operating around the clock, to the tightly packed food provisions and supplies needed to sustain crews through weeks of ocean crossing.
