Switzerland & Italy 2007 Ioana, 22 May 202622 May 2026 In 2007 we had a short holiday in Switzerland. We spent a few days around Vals and hiked the Swiss Alps in Graubunden to see Zervreilasee and Zervreilahorn. We drove to Austria through the Fern Pass and admired Schloss Fernsteinsee. We then spent some time around Chur area, drove through Furkapass and then to Italy via San Bernardino Pass. In Italy we spent some time around Lake Maggiore where we visited Isola Bella with its Palazzo Borromeo. We drove back to Switzerland to see the Matterhorn and saw it from the Italian side as well, where it is known as Monte Cervino.
