Albany Ioana, 3 septembrie 20243 septembrie 2024 Beautiful sights and places. The wind mills are spectacular and the walk at their base is highly recommended – especially close to sunset. The historic whaling station in Albany is an impressive experience, where they make it easy to understand what it was like to work in the whaling industry back in the days. Days not that far gone, with the last whale hunt from Albany happening on the 21st of November 1978. They have an interesting shell collection as well. Brig Amity is an old convict ship that can be visited. It is interesting to try and imagine what the conditions were like for those who were sent to jail across the oceans. Amity came from Sydney to King George Sound to establish the first European settlement on the west coast of Australia. Visiting animal farms is always fun for children and adults alike. Not sure about the animals. Albany Australia Travel Western Australia
