Fremantle Street Arts Festival Easter 2026 Ioana, 8 aprilie 20268 aprilie 2026 We spent a few days in Fremantle this Easter and went to see some of the performances that were part of the Fremantle Street Arts Festival. Sucrouf, in the fishing harbour, was an interesting French take on Mr Bean. Crazy Pony was an English / Swiss Duo combining string playing with acrobatics. Cate Great impressed with her balancing and juggling acts. We were lucky to get a spot on the balcony of the National Hotel to watch Mr Dyvinetz performing his Vari show – good views and also less likely to get picked to be on the improvised stage. Karcocha showed off some clowning techniques. Wasamba! were loud in sound and colour. So Circus was a beautiful mix of circus and fun. On Sunday night we went to watch Karla Kaartdijin, a vibrant Aboriginal dance and story about fire, commissioned by the City of Fremantle for the festival. We would have liked to see the full show of Cho Kairin, but unfortunately it rained quite heavily on Monday when we had planned to see it. So we only got to see a couple of acts as part of the mix night show. Here are some video snippets from the festival. 2026 Australia Events Fremantle Travel Western Australia
