On this occasion we saw the Crown Princess leaving and then Royal Princess took her spot shortly after. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\">ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Crown Princess cruise ship departing Sydney Harbour\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cGC-HcSNg7A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We admired the new buildings around <span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Barangaroo, caught the ferry to Cockatoo Island where we watched a near miss when a sailing boat pulled in front of a ferry.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\">ngg_shortcode_1_placeholder<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">In the evening we went for a walk at Clifton Baths in Chowder Bay and then to watch the sunset from Bradley Head.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\">ngg_shortcode_2_placeholder<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We visited Bondi Beach, walked along the Botanical Gardens and enjoyed a couple of shows at Sydney Opera House (<span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Dido &amp; Aeneas <\/span>and<span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"> Picnic at Hanging Rock) at Sydney Opera House.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\">ngg_shortcode_3_placeholder<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Our first stop on the way to the Central Coast was Staples Lookout with beautiful views towards Brisbane Waters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\">ngg_shortcode_4_placeholder<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We then drove to Gosford where we visited the Regional Art Gallery where they had an interesting exhibition by war artists on. Their Japanese garden is very nice and peaceful as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\">ngg_shortcode_5_placeholder<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We stopped at Ken Duncan\u2019s studio as well to have a look at some of his photographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We stayed in Terrigal. It is a very interesting place, with lots of pretty steep streets and it can be really busy at times (with people and card). <span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">We explored some of the local cafes and went for a walk along the foreshore.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\">ngg_shortcode_6_placeholder<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">W<span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">e drove to see the entrances to Lake Tuggerah and Lake Macquarie<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">and on a hunt to find the Kurra Kurrin petrified forest in Lake Macquarie \u2013 turns out it is all around the lake, as volcanic ash fell onto a forest. We found a really nice park though, Blackalls Park, to explore.
